The Department of Radiology, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, will present its Fifth Annual Diagnostic Imaging Seminar: An Assessment of Current and Future Imaging Procedures on 12-15 July 1983, on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. The seminar will assess the current status of ultrasound and CT in various obstetrical, chest, abdominal, pelvic and genitourinary problems. An evaluation of the University of Pennsylvania’s experience with nuclear magnetic resonance in several areas will be discussed. Also covered will be digital radiography and the role of computers in radiology. The Department of Radiology of the University of California, San Diego will present “Radiology of the Abdomen Including the Gastrointestinal and Genitourinary Tracts: Emphasis on X-Sectional Imaging, Interventional Radiology and NMR”. The course will be divided into two sections, the first presented 22-25 August 1983, at the Hotel Del Coronado, San Diego; the second will be held 26 August 1983, at the Disneyland Hotel, Anaheim. The objective of the course is to highlight innovations in conventional abdominal radiology and to demonstrate the use of newer techniques for clinical practice. The Department of Radiology at the University of Connecticut announces its Fifth International Radiology Symposium entitled “Radiology in Baden-Baden”. The symposium will take place in the Black Forest of West Germany 11-16 September 1983. The Department of Radiology, University Hospital, Freiburg, West Germany, is co-sponsoring the Congress.
