resistant coatings, excellent solderability, and ductility. The system produces a deposit consisting of approximately 70% tin, 30% zinc alloy, although composition can be varied by changing operating parameters. The deposit gives extremely high corrosion resistance to salt water and sulfur dioxide and gives excellent solderability, even after aging for several months. The process is neutral in pH and easy to control and maintain. It produces alloy deposits with a high degree of uniformity and is nonfoaming and readily waste treatable.
