The purpose of this text is to present the diagnosis and treatment of developmental deformities of the jaw. It is the first such text available on this important aspect of patient care in dentistry. It is a well-written and extremely well-illustrated text providing information that has previously been available only through exhaustive literature review. The book is hard bound, and the chapters are subdivided and well indexed. The authors have done an excellent job in providing descriptions of all techniques utilized in the surgical management of the variety of deformities seen. References are listed at the end of each chapter so that the reader can delve further into any particular area. The book will be of interest to all dentists treating patients with deformities of their jaw bones. It will provide the reader with information as to the possibility of surgical corrective procedures for these deformities. It should be of special interest to oral surgeons and orthodontists who arc treating these patients. WILLIAM R. WALLACE, D.D.S., 305 W. 12~~ AVE. COLUMBUS,OHIO 43210
