The invention relates to a method of producing fabric-reinforced capillary membranes, in particular for ultrafiltration (UF) applications. According to the method described, a fabric tube (1) is coated with a polymer solution and is guided through a precipitation bath (6), where the polymer solution is converted into a microporous layer. In this way, a membrane that is reinforced by the fabric tube is formed. The invention is characterized in that the fabric tube, coated with the polymer solution, passes through the bath without mechanical contact from top to bottom, and exits via a lower nozzle (7). A liquid, flowing through this nozzle enables a tensile force (that stabilizes the course of the coated fabric tube) to be exerted on the capillary membrane (8), which exits the precipitation bath.
