From the Editor: Volume 100

As the attentive reader of the present issue will have noticed on the cover, the present issue is the first one in volume 100 of Patient Education and Counseling. That does not mean that the journal has been around for 100 years. For many years, one volume comprised three issues only; thus, there were four volumes a year. Nevertheless, we have decided to observe volume 100 in a number of ways throughout the year. We will come back to that in more detail in due time.
