INCE OUR FIRST EDITORIAL,

a number of exciting changes for Cognitive and Behavioral Practice have taken place. First, ABCT has begun a partnership with Elsevier, the prestigious science publisher. From now on, articles published in Cognitive and Behavioral Practice (as well as in Behavior Therapy) will be easily available as PDF files and as full text on-line through Elsevier. This is an exciting and very important new development that will further enhance the visibility, dissemination, and impact of articles from our journal. All new manuscripts should be submitted through the Elsevier electronic submission portal at http://www.ees.elsevier.com/candbp/. For any revised submissions that were initially submitted through our previous portal (http://www.jbo.com), please continue to use that address for any changes. Information regarding the submission of manuscripts can also be found on ABCT's Web site (http://www.abct.org). In addition, we have added a new category of articles. Along with regular articles, clinical case conferences, and special series, we will now occasionally solicit and publish commentaries on selected articles. An example is included in this issue. The following three papers are commentaries of an article by Wicksell, Dahl, Magnusson, and Olsson (2005). Other commentaries and target articles will appear shortly. Commentaries will often be published in the same issue as the target article, but can occasionally also appear in a later issue. Our hope is that this new feature will stimulate fruitful discussions among experts on important, new, and controversial developments in our field. Although many commentaries will be solicited by one of us, we also welcome and will consider unsolicited commentaries. Finally, there have been some recent changes in our editorial staff. Maureen Whittal took on the enormous task of program chair for the ABCT convention in Chicago. In an attempt to protect Maureen's sanity, we 1077-7229/06/177$1.00/0 © 2006 Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

asked Steven Safren to temporarily replace Maureen in her role of Associate Editor for the journal. As expected, Steve did a marvelous job, and we sincerely thank him for his reliable and superb performance. By the time this editorial is published, Maureen will have transitioned back into her role as Associate Editor. Despite these changes and additions in editorial staff, publishing partnership, and on-line submission and tracking system, the editorial process has been operating smoothly and without interruptions. In fact, our submission rate increased and the turnaround time on manuscript reviews significantly decreased. We hope you are as happy as we are about the growth of our journal. We look forward to seeing your submissions.
