A

12-year-old white boy was seenby an orthodontist for evaluation and consultation regarding the appearance of his maxillary anterior teeth. Clinical examination revealed a normal complement of teeth with an excessively large clinical crown on the right maxillary incisor (Fig. 1). Radiographic examination indicated that the right maxillary incisor had a normal-sized primary root and a second smaller root on the mesial aspect. The radiolucencies in the coronal portion could be interpreted as multiple pulp chambers (Fig. 2). This unusual clinical and radiographic manifesta-
