GERMAN MECHANISMS CONFERENCE The all-German Mechanisms Conference this year is to be held in Magdeburg from 1 to 3 October 1975. Many foreign participants are expected. Themes for the meeting are: --Design and construction of plane and spatial mechanisms; --Increasing the power and reliability of mechanisms and machines by optimization of parameters; --Development of programmed systems for the analysis and synthesis of plane and spatial mechanisms; --Experimental research into mechanisms; --Dynamic problems of drives and transmissions. TECHNOMER 75 A conference on high polymers, elastic and plastic, is to be held in Karl-Marx-Stadt, German Democratic Republic from 16 to 18 September 1975. Areas to be covered by this ~conference include: --Processing of plastics and elastomers; --Applications of plastics and elastomers; --Machine tools and machines for polymer technology; --The testing of high polymer materials.
