The Janis Model BV-6 microprocessor controlled biological freezer provides automatic freezing rates from 0.5 ~ to 40~ per minute, programmable overa +50 ~ to -200~ range by a keyboard and digital display to prevent inadvertent cell destruction. Accommodating up to seven freezing programs, the system includes a standard lymphocyte program (developed by the Dutch Red Cross), and a linear heating/thawing program in permanent memory.
