Designed specifically for the cardiac cath lab, the system features simultaneousor independent acquisition of tine and digital images at 30 frame/s for “flickerless” images. Each acquisition is available instantly for review and selection of roadmap images. All images can be magnified and scanned during replay. Image inversion, as well as window and level manipulation capabilities are also available.

Color Flow Mapping The anular phased array beam used in the Vingmed Color Flow Mapping System is symmetrically focused in 3 dimensionsto provide thinner tomographic slicesfor more precise 2-dimensional image resolution. The probe is capable of performing simultaneous imaging, fully steerable continuous-wave and pulsed-wave (LPRF and HPRF) Doppler, and color flow mapping. Reviewsof pathology are simplified by scrolling memory and tine loop capabilities.

ReaLTime Transesophageal Transducer The HP 21362A transesophageal transducer provides the capability for realtime assessmentof cardiac function and anatomical structure from the esophagus during surgical procedures. The transducer is a 5 MHz, 64-element, phased-array probe mounted on the distal tip of a standard gastroscope, which is interfaced to Hewlett-Packard’s Sonos 1000 and Sonos 500 ultrasound imaging systems.

The MI- 10 Plus is a new upgrade for the Matrix Instruments Multi-Imagerr”-IO medical film recorder. Improvements include a new high resolution (1900line) monitor featuring precise linearity, uniform light output and switchselectable automatic interlacing that virtually eliminates video raster lines. The result is sharper images that are free of distortion, phosphor mottle and film artifacts.
