Joint Conference: 17th International Leukocyte Culture Conference 22nd National Meeting of the Reticuloendothelial Society
Ithaca, NY, U.S.A., 3-8 August 1985 The program planned is an exciting one and will be of interest to a wide spectrum of investigators in the biomedical sciences whose interests are basic mechanisms and clinical problems of host defence. There will be symposia on specific topics consisting of 5-6 presentations. Chairs and speakers with known expertise have been invited. Several afternoons have been set aside for Poster-Workshop discussion sessions. Topics for the discussion sessions will be chosen according to the abstracts submitted. In order to encourage and recognize the contributions of young scientists, the Reticuloendothelial Society offers several awards for the best papers in the following categories:
Student Awards (''Presidential Awards"): first place - $500 and a plaque; second place - $250 and a plaque; travel grants of up to $ 500 for lowest cost round trip airfare, if needed. Travel Grant Awards: travel grants of up to $500 for lowest cost round trip airfare will be provided to addi63
