Immunology Today is the forum for discussion Viewpoint The immunological community thrives on the constant generation of new hypotheses, informed speculanon and debate. Through the viewpoint section, I m m u n o l o g y T o d a y is committed to the presentation of novel and challenging concepts across the whole spectrum of immunological research. Naturally, the majority of viewpoint articles are volunteered to the Editor by the authors themselves and we wish to encourage this practice. Spontaneously submitted manuscripts are not always considered for publication. Therefore, we encourage you to contact the Editor in the first instance with a brief summary of the focus and content of any proposed article. Once commissioned, all viewpoint manuscripts undergo peer review: inevitably some will still be rejected, however the impact of those that are accepted is enhanced significantly.
