Edward B. Deakin, III

We are sorry to report the recent death of Professor Edward B. Deakin, III of the University of Texas at Austin, a member of our editorial board. Ed Deakin had been a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Accounting and Public Policy beginning with the first issue of the journal (Fall 1982). He had served as a member of the board since then and we appreciated his advice, and careful and timely reviews. L.A.G. S.E.L.
