In new installations, oven size and circulation fan horsepower can be reduced, saving plant space and energy costs. Existing gas units can be updated to the efficient radiant gas convection system, which is ideal for curing most finish coatings, inks, and adhesives.

Features include custom monorail, conveyor, box, batch, and belt designs; aluminized steel interiors, coated steel exteriors, and semirigid, nonsettling mineral wool insulation; and PLC controls, powerful air seals, and bottomentry design for accuracy and reliability.

The PED Technologies Sprint electric infrared oven is designed to increase the efficiency of any curing process. The Sprint complements a new or existing convection oven by boosting the product up to temperature. This boost reduces cure times, allows line speed increases, and improves productivity and product quality. The Sprint oven can be easily installed in most production lines. Utilizing fast response, medium wave elements, the oven heats to operating temperature in just 15 seconds. An available PLC, heat profiling, control system responds automatically to part presence as well as the size of the part in process, switching on only the elements required.
