Interim Meetings Focus On Management of Dystonia and Spasticity There is still time to register for the 1996 AAPM&R regional workshops on the Use of Botulinum-A Toxin for the Management of Focal Dystonia and Spasticity. Space is available in two separate workshops scheduled for June 21-22 and August 2-3 in Chicago. The workshops offer didactic sessions on the techniques, indications, and contraindications for the use of Botulinum-A Toxin in the treatment of focal dystonia and spasticity. Local physicians will demonstrate patient injections, and attendees will have an opportunity to present case studies from their practices. An outstanding faculty of clinicians, educators, and researchers will offer the latest scientific information on this topic and provide practical demonstrations of injection techniques. Each workshop is limited to 75 participants in order to enhance this educational opportunity for all attendees. Workshop participants can earn up to 10 Category 1 CME credits, and the workshop schedule will allow ample free time for those who wish to combine the educational opportunity with an exploration of the "Windy City." Call the Academy National Office at (312) 464-9700for more information about these workshops.

Windy City To Host 1996 AAPM&R Annual Assembly Chicago will host the Academy's 58th Annual Assembly and Technical Exhibition, October 10-13, 1996. "Quality Outcomes: Forging the Physiatric Future" is the theme of the 1996 Annual Assembly, and several sessions will focus on measuring and documenting quality physiatric care.

The meeting will feature nine topic tracks with a broad appeal to all physiatfists regardless of special areas of interest. A PASSOR program and a roster of distinguished speakers will maximize the value of this three-and-one-half-day meeting. The latest in PM&R-related products and services for the specialty will also be on display in the Exhibit Hall. What's new? The three-and-a-half day scientific program offers something for ev-
