• . . A b u n d a n t Clean Energy for Mankincl The International Association for Hydrogen Energy was officially formed at the end of 1974, in response to the interest of the many scientists and engineers involved with the development of a hydrogen based energy system. The objective of the Association is education through a worldwide coordination of the many individual efforts being made toward such an energy system. Toward this end, the Association strives to stimulate the exchange of information between persons working in hydrogen energy fields through its publications and sponsorship of international workshops, short-courses and conferences. In addition, the Association endeavors to inform the general public of the important role of hydrogen in the planning of an inexhaustible and universally abundant energy system to meet our ever-growing demands. The Association has three categories of membership. Professional persons who are interested in the study and/or applications of the various aspects of a hydrogen based clean energy system will be Members. Laymen and students interested in the realization of the universal clean energy system based on hydrogen will be Associate Members. Educational institutions, professional societies, agencies and corporate groups interested in clean energy systems and problems may become Institutional Members.
