International chilled and fresh food fair The Second International Chilled and Fresh Food Fair will be held at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, UK, 28 30 April 1987. This is a larger venue than originally planned but, according to the organizers, Queensdale Exhibitions and Conferences Limited, the increase in capacity is necessary as most exhibitors are intending to take more stand space that at the first Fair, which was held in London in February 1986. The first fair attracted over 5200 visitors, including leading buyers who were conveniently able to view over 2000 products from the rapidly expanding and profitable sector of chilled foods under one roof. The National Exhibition Centre provides good amenities, including easy road and rail access from all parts of the country, and the availability of water and adequate waste disposal, both of which are essential for this type of fair.
