Announcement INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF THE HISTORY OF PHARMACY
Paris, 24-29 September 1973 The next International Congress of the History of Pharmacy will be held in Paris in 1973. The Congress will be organised by the Soci6t~ d'Histoire de la Pharmacie (S.H.P.) under the auspices of the Union Mondiale des Soci~t6s d'Histoire Pharmaceutique (U.M.S.H.P.), of the Internationale Gesellschaft for Geschichte der Pharmazie (I.G.G.P.), and of the Acad6mie Internationale d'Histoire de la Pharmacie.
Date: 2 4 - 2 9 September 1973. Place: Faculte" de Pharmacie, Paris, France. Special theme of the Congress: Relationships through the centuries between pharmacy in France and pharmacy in other countries. Official languages: French, German, and English. There will be a number of receptions, excursions, and other events, including visits to the H6pital Militaire and the Mus~e du Val-de-Grdce, to Chantilly (chateau, old pharmacy, equestrian display), and to Luzarches (church of St. Cosmos and St. Damian). A special programme will be arranged for guests. Congress fee, excluding cost of Farewell Banquet: Congress members 300 francs, guests 200 francs (these fees are subject to revision in the event of major monetary changes).
