INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON SOMATOSTATIN A satellite symposium to the 13th Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) Congress will be organized on the subject of Somatostatin. This symposium is being sponsored by the Serono Research Foundation Europe Inc. and will take place from Sept. 25-27, 1977 in Freiburg/Br., G.F.R., immediately preceding the EASD Congress. This meeting will include invited lectures and a limited number of free communications. Deadline for receipt of abstracts (max. 250 words) is May 21, 1977. For further information write to: S. MATURATIONAL ASPECTS OF NEUROTRANSMISSION MECHANISMS - A Satellite Symposium to the VI International Meeting of Neurochemistry. Organizers: G. Filogamo (Turin, Italy), E. Data: August 29-31, 1977. Five sessions; Wednesday, August 31, morning session only. The symposium starts 2 days after the end of the VI International Meeting of Neurochemistry in Copenhagen, to allow participants to reach the location by train, car or plane. Location: St. Vincent, 80 km (50 miles) from Turin, northern Italy. Approximately 150 km (90 miles) from Milan. Closest airport is Turin, direct connections with London, Paris, Frankfurt and Zurich.
