The Editors propose to introduce a new section into this Journal entitled ‘COMMENTARY’ which will be placed at the beginning of each issue and will deal with News and Views about current and future development in the field of computers of relevance to medicine and the life sciences. It is intended to have a format of this section similar to that of ‘Contemporary Cybernetics’ in the Journal Kybernetes. Considerable latitude will be allowed to the Section Editor in writing this column. A small gratuity and a complimentary subscription to the Journal will be available. Please address your enquiries to the Editors.
