Air Technologies Inc. (ATI) announces that its OSM100 and Aerospace 3000 Paint Overspray Collection Systems exceed the EPA Aerospace NESHAP Final Rule for paint overspray collection of inorganic HAPS for aerospace manufacturing and rework facilities. Each system was tested using Test Method #319, which is the only test method recognized by the EPA to determine if an overspray collection system meets the efficiency guidelines. Existing paint booths and new paint booths have different requirements.
The Desal-5 nanofiltration membrane can help close the loop in metal-finishing operations by separating soluble metals from acid. Clarified acid and process water may be returned to rinse or plating baths while metals are recovered. Desal's spiral-wound Desal-5 elements use patented materials of construction, including the Durasan cage outer wrap and wide-feed spacers, for longer element life and greater system efficiency.
