International Organization of Psychophysiology The International Organization of Psychophysiology (IOP) has the following objectives: 1. The world-wide dissemination of information regarding psychophysiological research, teaching, and applications; 2. The establishment and stimulation of psychophysiological research, teaching, and applications in all the nations of the world; 3. The development and promotion of international collaborations and discussion in the field of psychophysiology. Psychophysiology is the study of interrelationships between the physiological and psychological aspects of behavior. Psychophysiology includes the following areas of study: sensation and perception; learning and memory; cognition; evolution and development of behavior; motivation and emotion; aggression and defence; central and autonomic nervous system activity; neuronal communication and synaptic transmission; interhemispheric relations and cerebral dominance; psychophysiological (psychosomatic) disorders; biofeedback; stress; psychopharmacology; human beings in air and space; physical activity and sports.

[email protected] IOP Membership dues for 2013–2014 (two-year term) are 20 euro. For initiation, a joining fee (10 euro) is required. Students (Associate Members) can be exempted from the joining fee. Members and Associate Members can receive an electronic subscription to the International Journal of Psychophysiology at a reduced price (35 US dollars/year).
