Objectives of the symposium
This symposium will provide in-depth information in the new and growing field of solar energy, including heat transfer and energy conversion fundamental cooling and heating, power generation, bioconversion, agricultural applications, synthetic fuels and hydrogen production, storage of energy, environmental and legal problems, and economics and incentives. At the various sessions of the symposium, there will be lectures to be delivered by invited lecturers, and also paper presentations by experts in various aspects of solar energy. There will be discussions held between the invited lecturers and the symposium participants in an interdisciplinary manner. The discussions will cover the scientific and technical aspects, as well as the legal and economic aspects.
