JENNIE
D. BEAVER
(1877-1965)
Dr. Jennie D. Beaver of Morristown, New Jersey, died at age 88 on August 2, 1965. Dr. Beaver graduated from Cornell Medical School in 1910. She interned in New York City and served a three year residency at the Met,hodist-Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia. In 1913 Dr. Beaver went to Morristown where she set up the first clinical laboratories at the Morristown Memorial Hospital. For many years she also served as Medical Director for t,he public schools in Mountain Lakes and Morris Township. During World War I, she became a staff member of the American Red Cross. Her duties took her to France, Israel, and Egypt. For 30 years Dr. Beaver was a member of the staff of the New York IJniversity-Bellevue Medical Center-Post Graduate Hospital. She was associated with the late Dr. Will Cook Spain. 1)r. Beaver was a member of the Cornell University Medical College Alumni L4ssociation, the Morris County Medical Society, the American Medical Associat,ion, the American Academy of Allergy, and a Fellow of the International Associat,ion of Allergology. Dr. Beaver is survived by her husband, two sons, and two grandchildren.

STUART
(1905-1966)
Dr. George James Stuart of Washington, D. C., died on January 29, 1966, at age 61. Dr. Stuart was born in New llaven, Connecticut. He received a Bachelor of Philosophy degree from Yalr Knivrrsity in 1928, and received his medical degree from the University of Bonn, Germany, in 1934. He interned at the Jersey City Medical Center and the Hudson County General Hospital. From 1938 to 1940 Dr. Stuart received formal training in allergy at, the University of Michigan Hospital. 254
