KARYOTYPIC COMPARISON OF A TESTICULAR CANCER CELL LINE WITH ACQUIRED RESISTANCE TO CIS-PLATIN AND ITS SENSITIVE COUNTERPART. NA Heerema. BJ Roth, CG Palmer, A Milatovich, GW Sledge, Jr.. IN Univ School of Medicine, Indianapolis, IN A cell line (833K ~ ) resistant to 64xi05 ug/ml cisplatin was developed from the testicular tumor cell line 833K. Karyotypic analysis of the cell lines showed 3 clones in the sensitive line, all related and showing clonal evolution The resistant line is monoclonal and shows further changes from the karyotypically m O ~ c ~ b n o r m a l sensitive clone.
