PERCEIVED SIMILARITIES AMONG RECREA HONAL ACTIVITIES. Boris W. Becker, Journal of leisure Research (1601 North Kent Street, Arlington, Virginia, 22209, USA), Volume 8, Number 2, 1976, pp.112-122. This paper presents a discussion of Nonmetric Multidimensional Sealing (NMDS), a technique for developing maps of perceptual structures. This technique converts .ueakly ordered similarities judgements into metric scaled distances. NMDS is a powerful methodology to~ attacking the problem of identifying substitutes and unique leisure activittes. Further, it allows the investigator to determine the perceptual dimensions or characterisitics which individuals use to organize their view of leisure activities.

This article reports on the coming apart of the keystone treaty that has governed the enormous growth of international commercial air traffic. it states that now the U.S. faces the start of a year-long round of negotiations to put together a new agreement. The article points out the startling fact that the U.S. has no interantional aviation policy.
