An apt cliche for the sequins, lights , and silver of the casinos and shows in the city that calls itself the " entertainment capital of the world" and that is the number one gambling center of the United States . Both activities can be found in the many hotels and casinos in the downtown Casino Center on Fremont Stand the Strip , running perpendicular to Fremont St.
