Sequence analysis tool DNASTAR has announced the release of GeneQuest, a tool for comprehensive analysis, organisation and display of sequence information. The newest addition to the DNASTAR universe of desktop products offers a user-friendly graphical interface to locate features of a sequence, perform BLAST searches, and display features at scales from a whole chromosome down to the single nucleotide. The software finds ORFs, stops and starts, and identifies potential coding regions using Borodovsky's Markov method.
