Surgical Design
Our lenses are lightweight and designed for expediency, accuracy, reliability and long lasting quality. They are easily exchanged during surgery with the scleral ring in place. Being made of the highest quality optical glass, they are easily cared for and can be sterilized by any modality including autoclaving. #25-001 Scleral Holding Ring It is sutured to the bare scleral or the sclera through the conjuctiva prior to the vitrectomy incision. It is used as a holder for the contact lens. #25-002 Regular Lens Used to view the mid and posterior vitreous around the optical axis #25-003 20 Degree Peripheral Lens Used for the peripheral fundus #25-004 30 Degree Peripheral Lens The 30 Degree Peripheral Lens is used for the visualization of the peripheral fundus and regions reaching above the equator. #25-005 Magnifying Lens The Magnifying Lens gives a more detailed resolution, when the microscopes magnification is limited or fixed. #25-006 Ring with Irrigation Used to flood the cornea before the lens is placed, and blood from corneal surface can be flushed during surgery without lifting the contact lens #25-007 Wide Angle Lens (Fluid-Air Exchange) The Wide Angle Lens increases the field of view and is also used during fluid-air exchange.
