5. Comments Reviewer 1: The book is a fairly well written textbook of paediatric hepatology. The author gives an up-to-date account of liver disorders in childhood. It focuses on clinicians (paediatricians), but is also of value to pathologists and biochemists concerned with liver disorders in the paediatric age group. Reviewer 2: The book gives an excellent overview up to 1992 for the care of liver patients by paediatricians. General practitioners are also well served. The book is written concisely but includes only a few references from 1993. However, the references given are good, and the index is excellent.
