9 Main Powerhouse Layout 9.1 DIRECTION OF MAIN POWERHOUSE Layout of the main powerhouse of power plant shall be in line with the thermal and power production process flow while achieving compact and reasonable equipment arrangement, short and neat pipeline connections, and concise and bright workshop layout.

9.2 MAIN POWERHOUSE AND THERMAL STORAGE The main powerhouse and shall be located on the windward side of the power plant’s thermal storage in order to avoid toxic gases and fire hazards in the event of accidents. The height of the main powerhouse shall not block sunlight from the concentration field at any time of the year.

9.3 SOLAR THERMAL STORAGE SYSTEM LAYOUT As it is large in volume, the thermal storage system should not be located inside the main powerhouse when considering an expansion of thermal storage capacity.
