Masking Caps and Plugs stockcap St. Louis
Special Masking offers #4000 green powder coating polyester tape and die cut shapes for powder coating applications. Ideal for masking during all phases of the powder coating process, a crosslinked adhesive system assures proper adhesion during coating operation and minimal residue upon removal. Durable polyester backing will not curl, break, or tear. The tape is temperature resistant up to 425°F with excellent chemical resistance. This tape product is also designed to offer a sharp fine-line definition with no coating bleeding and lays down quickly on parts.
Ultra-Temp clear silicone masking caps and plugs used in powder coating and electrocoating systems where temperatures reach 6WF (316°C) have no coloring agents to bleed under high heat. They are reusable and have good resistance to acids, bases, and solvents without hardening or cracking. The material is flexible for a tight fitting seal of threads, fittings, tubing, etc.

Stop-Off Lacquers Tolber Div. Hope, Ark. Tolber Div. introduces two experimental waterborne stop-off lacquers, WB-018 and XP-50. These stop-offs are low VOC and are nonflammable. Application of WB-018 and XP-59 is best done by brushing the material onto the metal surface, which has been thoroughly cleaned prior to application of the stop-off. As a general rule, both stop-offs dry within one hour of application depending upon relative air humidity. -0 coats are generally required for most operations.
