Abstract-The computer program PROBAD is carrying out mechanical design in accordance with the following technical regulations : Technische Regel fiir Dampfkessel, AD-Merkbl&er, ASME-Code Sec. VIII, Div. 1 and TEMA-Standards. By means of assembly groups it is possible to simulate arbitrary apparatus. These assembly groups are linked to each other by a special input language, which also allows the formulation of additional logical operations.
