Controlled Delivery in Consumer Products Cincinnati, OH, U.S.A. October l&19,1990 Subjects that will be presented in this two-day tutorial workshop, organized by the CRS, include: controlled release technologies in consumer products, food applications, encapsulation of perfumes, cosmetic products, air fresheners, starch-based matrices, carbonless paper and imaging, lawn care. The lecturers will be seven industrial researchers from leading companies in the field, and three academic investigators. This workshop is organized by Drs. C.M. Garrison of Procter&Gamble and N.A. Peppas of Purdue University. The registration fee will be $400 (for CRS members), and will include one reception, two lunches, all coffee breaks and a booklet with hard copies of the slides presented (approximately 600 pages). NATO Advanced Study Institute on Chromatographic and Membrane Processes in Biotechnology Sao Miguel, Azores (Portugal) July 15-27,199O A NATO Advanced Study Institute on Chromatographic and Membrane Processes will be held July 15-27 at the Hotel Bahia Palace on Sao Miguel in the Azores. The Institute will be tutorial, presenting an updated treatment of fundamentals, development of new materials, optimization, and integration. The course will involve lectures, seminars, amd discussions. An edited version of the course will be published in the NATO AS1 series by Kluwer Academic Publishers, The Netherlands.
