International Society on Toxinology Membership Application
For the convenience of our readers, there is reprinted below the of®cial application form for membership in the International Society on Toxinology. Those who have published original scienti®c research on animal, plant or microbial toxins are eligible for full membership, while those with an interest in natural toxins, but lacking original research publications can apply for associate membership. If you do not know a present member of the Society to sponsor your nomination, please send the completed forms to Dr. Mebs, who will arrange for sponsorship of worthy candidates. The Society currently has well over 600 members in over 57 countries, publishes a newsletter, sponsors the Redi Award in toxinology and organizes regional and international meetings. Yearly dues of $110.00 includes a subscription to TOXICON. This is less than the individual subscription price for non-members. Major international meetings of the Society have been held in Atlantic City, Tel-Aviv, Tokyo, Darmstadt, San JoseÂ, Uppsala, Brisbane, Newcastle, Stillwater, Singapore, and Cuernavaca.
