Hardcopy Tektronix 4634 hardcopy imaging unit can be interfaced to most raster-scan video sources. The unit records on dry silver paper, producing a 150mm x 200ram image. GTCO, the Rocky/lie, Maryland, USA, digitizer manufacturers have formed a UK company. Based in West London, it will service both the OEM and enduser markets for their GTOC-Pad, Datatizer and Micro-Datatizer systems.
PO800 automated PCB artwork system uses a photoplotter to produce one-toone artwork masters directly, avoiding the need for photoreductions. The system also includes a large area digitizer, an editing station and a floppy disc drive. It costs under £48000, affordable by companies producing 10-20 new designs a year.
