At the time of going to press we received news that the semiconductor wafer manufacturing facility of Japan E n e r g y has b e e n a w a r d e d the ISO9002 certificate of quality.
MKS Instruments Deutschland G m b h achieves ISO 9 0 0 1 MKS Instruments Deutschland G m b H successfully completed its ISO 9001 Certification process. The audit was performed by TUV-Bayern, Munich, Germany. Certification was achieved for the MKS business operation in Munich, Germany. MKS Instruments, Inc., the parent company of MKS Instruments, Deutschland, obtained ISO 9001 Cer-
tification in November 1993 for its manufacturing f~i!ities in Andover and Lawrence, xvr~; as well as its service facilities in Richardson, TX; and Santa Clara, CA. ISO 9001 Certification is a significant step toward M K S ' goal of providing worldwide total quality management.
Two divisions of Tylan General achieve ISO certification Tylan General, Inc. a leading supplier of advanced process management instrumentation, announced that its Flow Division in Torrance, Calif., has earned ISO 9001 certification from ABS Quality Evaluations and its U.K. division has achieved ISO 9002 certification from Certification International. According to Tylan General's President and CEO, David Ferran, the divisions' ISO certifications are significant corporate milestones that
