Mobile Performance Results from Chapter 9 TESTING METHODOLOGY These mobile performance tests were created using the Marlin Mobile Performance Monitoring tool. Here are the characteristics of this test. n Created pages coded in HTML5 for each pattern example n Used three Android devices (smartphones and tablets) n Ran the test 12 times a day n Ran the test over a period of 12 days n All devices were connected to a mobile carrier n Pages hosted on the same server n Did not remove outliers
