T h e Graphotype is an electric m otor driven m achine w hich e m b osse s an address on a m etal plate alm o st as quickly as it can be w ritten on a typew riter. T h is m achine w ill n early pay for itse lf in the preparing of our initial list.

T h e se plates serve as a card index, each S tate is arranged

alp habetically by com p onent societies, and filed in steel draw ers. T h e address plates are then operated through the electric m otor-driven addressograph at an av erag e speed of 3,000 add resses per hour w ithout an error or om ission, w hile it ta k e s a skilled typist, w ork ing hard and continuously a w hole day to turn out 800 ad d resses.
