Cancer claimed Morris M. Joselow, Ph.D., on November 23, 1983. He was born April 23, 1923. He is survived by his wife and three children. He was Professor of Preventive Medicine and Community Health and Director, Division of Environmental Toxicology, New Jersey Medical School, Newark, New Jersey. 0041-008X/84

OBITUARY
Dr. Joselow received his B.S. from the City College of New York in 1943 and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Columbia University in 1945 and 1949, respectively. He was, in succession, Director, Chemical and Radioisotope Laboratories, U.S. Naval Research Facility in Bayonne, New Jersey, 1950- 1955; Director, Environmental Health Studies and Head, Chemical Laboratory, U.S. Consumers Union, Inc., Mt. Vernon, New York, 1955-1965; and Assistant Professor of Occupational Medicine, Columbia University, School of Public Health and Director, Laboratory of Industrial Hygiene, 1965- 1970. His association with the New Jersey Medical School began in 197 1. He was an active member of the Society of Toxicology and has served on the Program Committee. Although not a formal member of the Editorial Board of Tu,xicology and Applied Pharmacology, he willingly and efficiently reviewed innumerable manuscripts. His health problems were not made known to those who requested his services. His passing was discovered only when the correspondence regarding a manuscript he had just reviewed was returned unopened with “Deceased” marked across the front of the envelope. Morris Joselow will be sorely missed, not only because of the services he rendered, but because of the way he rendered them. TOM S. Associate
