ventive medicine is provided through an inter-colleagiate course of study extending over one year of full-time study, or by part-time study over two, three or four years by the accumulation
of credits.
In addition to a compulsory core component, students may choose specialised modules of lo-12 weeks duration in either advanced immunology, clinical mycology, advanced virology, molecular biology of infection or parasitology. The course is open to medical, dental and verterinary practitioners, graduates in science or pharmacy or other suitably qualified students. Exemption from the Primary Examination for the M.R.C.Path. may be granted to suitably qualified British subjects resident in the United Kingdom taking the full-time course or the part-time course by the accumulation of credits.
