If you teach people how to eat healthy on a budget, this resource may be of interest to you. The kit includes several laminated pieces that you can use to design your own bulletin board display. The different components include a title, 4 (8 8 inches) content pieces, 2 (4 11 inches) content pieces, and 4 (4 4 inches) photos. The content promotes MyPlate,1 inexpensive lean protein sources, frozen fruits and vegetables, generic brands, buying in bulk, buying whole foods, ways to make
meals stretch, shopping with a list, and seasonal produce. The kit is eye-catching and colorful, with beautiful full-color pictures. The content is consistent with current nutrition knowledge and federal recommendations and is suitable for most adult audiences. Some of the content may not be customized enough for educators who teach specific populations. For example, the advice to buy in bulk may be hard for low-income audiences to implement. The kit would make a great display for a health fair or any display where people can come right up to the board
