AAE ENDOWMENT AND MEMORIAL FOUNDATION Research Committee The American Association of Endodontists Endowment and Memorial Foundation was formed to fulfill several much needed functions for endodontics. One function of the Foundation is to financially support basic research or other research where the results will benefit the general public. These benefits can result in direct and indirect improvements in teaching techniques, or patient care and treatment methods, or both. The Research Committee has the responsibility of reviewing applications for financial support and for making recommendations to the Board
of Trustees of the Foundation. One of the Board's responsibilities is to accept or reject recommendations made by the Research Committee. Funds for such research programs are limited and are for a one-year period only per application. Applications and protocol for such research support are now being drawn up. When they are completed, applications may be obtained from the A A E Endowment and Memorial Foundation, PO Box 11728, Northside Station, Atlanta, Ga 30305. John Dowson George Israel
