James Aquavella received the Conrad Berens Medal during the 1982 session of the Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmology. Dr. Aquavella presented the 1982 Conrad Berens Memorial Lecture and received the award in honor of his leadership and contributions in the field of ophthalmology. Dr. Aquavella is clinical associate professor of ophthalmology at the University of Rochester and chairman of the department of ophthalmology at Park Ridge Hospital.
