The Ninth International Conference on ‘Amorphous and liquid Semiconductors is a senes of bienmal conferences sponsored by International Union of Pure and Applied Physics. The Conference will cover all fundamental aspects of amorphous and liquid semiconductors as well as physics of relevant devices. Amorphous and hydrogenated silicon, chalcogenide glasses, amorphous transition metal oxydes wifi be covered. A special one day symposium on ‘Amorphous Semiconductor devices’ will be included in the Conference. Theoretical
aspects of electron localisation in disordered condensed media will be debated. Abstract deadline: 15 February, 1981. Information: B.K.
