NUTRITION, WOMEN AND THEIR HEALTH The Food and Nutrition Board of the Institute of Medicine, National Academy of Sciences will host a full-day symposium titled "Nutrition, Women, and Their Health" on December 11, 1991. The symposium will feature speakers and discussion on socioeconomic and demographic factors that affect women's health in developing and industrialized countries, nutrition during pregnancy and lactation, effects of pregnancy and lactation on women's health, nutrition and chronic diseases in women, dieting behaviors and common eating disorders, and nutrition issues of older women. This symposium will be held in the main auditorium of the National Academy of Sciences at 2101 Constitution Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. 20418.
