On October 6-12, 2008, the entire health care foodservice industry will celebrate National Healthcare Food Service Workers’ Week. This annual celebration focuses on those who spend their lives serving our patients, their families, doctors, and other caregivers working in the healthcare environment. Please take the time to recognize those who work in your food service operation for their outstanding commitment and dedication to those they serve. Show your support for your profession, staff, colleague, or friends with gifts from the American Society for Healthcare Food Service Administrators. For more information, please visit http://jimcolemanltd. com/fs/. The National Society for Healthcare Foodservice Management (HFM) also salutes its members during National Healthcare Food Service Week, and the American Dietetic Association joins in this celebration, congratulating all of its members working in foodservice in health care facilities and organizations. Donating Journals Members often inquire about donating their old Journals to a good cause, but don’t know where to start. The Special Libraries Association Web site provides a list of organizations that accept donations of old journals and redistribute them to developing countries, found at http://www.sla.org/ content/resources/inforesour/reftool/ bkdonate.cfm. The Journal encourages our readers to take advantage of this opportunity to share our knowledge.
