O R I E N T A T I O N TO EMERGENCY NURSING DISTANCE EDUCATION PROGRAM The Eraergency Nurses Association of NSW is pleased to offer a competency based orientation program that has been developed by the Emergency Nurses Association (USA). The program is designed to meet the learning needs of newcomers to Emergency Nursing It is a great program for those Emergency Nurses who feel the need for some revision of knowledge and skills, as well as those where educational opportunities are few and far between due to accessibility. This distance educational opportunity is unique in that it allows customising of the program to meet the individual needs of the participant or an organisation. Preceptors facilitate this process and may also negotiate with the participant performance of clinical skills related to the module activities.
