P-STAT Ported to IBM PC/XT and PC/AT P-STAT, Inc. of Princeton, N J, has announced a micro version of its data management and statistical analysis software package, P-STAT, for the IBM P C / X T and P C / A T and compatibles. The conversion provides P C / X T and P C / A T users with full mainframe compatibility on their personal computer. This implementation is P-STAT in its entirety, the same version that is available to mainframe users. P-STAT offers interactive data management, data display, statistical analysis, and report-writing capabilities, all in a single package. It features an online HELP facility, interactive data entry, relational database capabilities, macros, and a wide range of statistical commands. P-STAT is available for the IBM Personal Computer/XT and Personal Computer/AT. P-STAT requires a PC with 640K bytes of memory, MS-DOS 2.1 (or above), a 10 Megabyte Hard Disk (minimum) and the 8087 or 80287 math co-processor. The introductory price for P-STAT on the P C / X T and P C / A T running M S / D O S is $695. Multiple copy discounts are available. The P-STAT software is available on more than 30 different mainframe, mini and micro computers. It is marketed internationally and is used in industry, business, education and government for a variety of applications, including market research and clinical trials.
