Multipurpose detergent and complexing agent from Ciba Specialty Chemicals Ciba INVATEX MD is a new generation, phosphorus-free cracking agent comprising a combination of high-performance surfactants and complexing/dispersing components. INVATEX MD is suitable for cracking foreign substances and impurities on cellulosic fibres and their blends with synthetics. It has a good wetting action in alkaline, neutral and acid media, stability to oxidizing agents and compatibility with enzymes (amylases). Per-oxygen compounds FMC to convert perborate plant to percarbonate production FMC Foret has announced plan to convert its sodium perborate plant at Zaida in Spain to percarbonate production. The conversion will enable the company to increase its percarbonates capacity by 35,000 tonnes in order to meet increasing demand from the detergents industry. The articles must be wet with water, then lathered via rubbing or other mechanical forces.
